Photoshop tutorial

This tutorial video shows everything from how to create a new document, importing photos, and how to add effects to photos. I think that it may be difficult to do most of these things because they are mainly commands on the keyboard and not simply just pressing something on the screen. He also explains when to change vibrance versus saturation for a photo. I think it will be easy to change color hues and layers because they are visually done and not clicking keys on a keyboard. Overall I think photoshop will be relatively simple considering I have used photoshop a lot in the past, but I have not done many things in depth like I assume we will be doing in class.

This tutorial video goes over the different tools that photoshop has to offer. I think the lasso tool will be the most difficult to use. The person who did this tutorial explains well how to use each tool, shows example, and what you could use each tool for which makes it seem a lot simpler than going into photoshop not knowing anything about what each tool means. Not only does he explain each tool, but he also made a section where you can skip to the part of the video for what tool you want to learn. He made this very handy for not only beginners, but also for people who have not used photoshop in a long time and need a refresher on some tools.

This tutorial shows how to remove the background of images. He goes into depth and slowly explains each step so that nothing is forgotten or missed. After selecting the background, he shows how to refine the selection. When he is refining the selection he is not refining the background, but the part of the image that has been decided to stay from the original photo. He shows multiple different ways how how to make a selection and tells the viewers which way is best for each version of photoshop. After showing a photo with one subject, but then he also shows how to make selections with more than one subject.
